Dr. Brown is an orthopaedic surgeon, a specialist for the surgery of hip and knee replacements.

He practices at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak and has been on the staff there since 1981.  He grew up in this area, attending Birmingham Groves High School and the University of Michigan for both his undergraduate and medical school educations.  He then spent five years at Beaumont Hospital in an orthopaedic surgery residency training program.  He is board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and is involved in teaching the residents in orthopaedics at Beaumont.  His interest is primarily in hip and knee replacement surgery and he is a charter member of the Association for Arthritic Hip and Knee Surgery.
